Car into Fishkill Creek - Rombout Fire District

Rombout FD was dispatched for a vehicle into the Fishkill Creek at Route 52 and Hustis Lane in the Town of Fishkill at aproximately 5:30 am on May 28th. Upon the arrival of Chief John Lucariello, he requested the Hughsonville FD be dispatched with their dive team to assist. Rombout firefighters in wet suits and Hughsonville dive team members searched the vehicle and surrounding waters and found no occupants..... The owners reportedly arrived at the scene a short time later claiming their Honda CRV was stolen. Apparently it was stolen then intentionally dumped into the creek..... The Town of Fishkill Police are investigating.......
