Structure Fire - Hackensack Heights - New Hackensack Fire District 3/31/14

New Hackensack Firefighters made a quick knock-down of this fire in a "Contemporary" raised ranch. The interior was of a "Colliers Mansion" condition which made conditions all the more hazardous for firefighters and also significantly increased the fire load. Numerous pets perished in the fire and firefighters did their best in trying to revive a dog who was trapped in a rear bedroom.
